I believe that the Iraq war doesn’t meet to the war standards because it is making more greater evil. People, and soldiers are dying for reasons that the government can solve in alot of different ways. And instead of choosing peace, they are choosing violence. The war is just causing more problems for everyone. The war is just unnecessary.

The war in Iraq does not avoid greater evils. It is causing more damage than is needed. The United States is providing more violence because they have kept the war going. It could have been ended a long time ago but its still continuing.
No, the Iraq War does not meet the Just War specification of avoiding Greater evils. The Iraq War could have been avoided. I’m not exactly sure how, but i am sure that there could have been an alternative solution before going to war. I believe that the violence that has been inflicted in this war is equal. Iraq and the U.S. have inflicted the same amount of evil upon one another.
i would have to disagree with kathy beacause we are not making it evil, all the terrorists that are blowing us up are making it more evil than it is. If they would stop blowing us up, then it would not be as bad. A long as they keep fighting back well keep fighting too.
No the Iraq war meet is not the Just War specification of avoiding “Greater evils”. Although, they are fighting for what they believe in, they are fighting fire with fire. The only way to avoid “Greater evils” is to make peace, not to go to war. As for the two countries, they are equalivalent when it comes to their violent ways. Both are attacking one another, which makes both sides guilty.
I believe that the Iraq war does not meet the Wars standards because all it is causing more problems. It is just avoiding “greater evils”. This war could have been avoided, but there wasnt enough effort in trying to avoid it, this is why change wont be made.
1. The war in Iraq does not avoid greater evils. It has caused more damage then it should have. The US has said that they are doing it to end violence but they themselves are using violence to try to end it.
the war in iraq does not avoid greater evils, it promotes more problems and creates damage not only to the people of iraq but the american soldiers that are giving their lifes for a war that could have been ended a long time ago.
i agree with Austin Burke and his opinion on the topic i believe that the war promotes more pain and agony than it helps the economy sure it helps create jobs but it also kills husbands, wives, children, nephews anyone who goes to war not only puts themselves through pain but everyone who loves that person.

No, the war in Iraq does not mean the just war theory. There is a good chance that the war in Iraq could have been stopped. One way to stop the war from happening was use the Iraq people to capture bin laden and Saddam. I believe that the violence that has been inflicted in this war is equal. I believe that the terrorists have done more damage then we have because they blow buildings up that have people from both the U.S. and Iraq.
1. I don’t think that we are going to war to avoid “greater evils”. We are fighting and killing and creating more destruction than the so-called WMDs that Iraq supposedly had. We are not following the Just War theory of avoiding “greater evils” and both sides are at fault.
1. The war in Iraq is not a war to avoid “greater evils.” At times it seems like we are trying to prove that they should change to our political systems. That we are killing and destroying their lands just so they can see that we are “better.”
